3
The Mazda 3 is a roomy, affordable compact with spirit. It has a sporty demeanor and is fun to drive. The Mazda 3, or Mazda3 as company renders it, is available as a neatly styled four-door sedan or as a more adventurous five-door hatchback.
The sedan has a sweet, rounded shape and smooth, cohesive design. The five-door looks more aggressive, and provides a lot of utility with its hatchback design and folding rear seats. |
|
323
| Two distinct models resulted from the redesign of Mazda's front-drive subcompact for 1990: a 2-door hatchback, again called 323; and a longer, more costly 4-door sedan named Protege. Though similar in front-end appearance, the two shared no sheetmetal. An 82-horsepower, 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine again powered the 323. A 5-speed manual gearbox was standard; 4-speed automatic optional. Base and SE editions went on sale. The latter got cloth upholstery instead of vinyl, as well as tinted glass and upgraded interior trim. Motorized front shoulder belts and manual lap belts were installed. |

6
| You can have it all, and more, in a new Mazda6. The sleek, athletic body. Powerful, responsive performance. Handling that can only come from a company with a passion for sports cars. In sedan, hatch, or wagon. In corners, curves or on straights. Mazda6 delivers that special feeling we call Zoom-Zoom. |
|
626
Mazda's totally restyled, Michigan-built front-drive sedan was the first Japanese-named model to qualify as a domestic car when it debuted in May 1992. A driver-side airbag now was standard; antilock braking optional. Mazda's MX-6 coupe again was closely related to the 626 sedan and to Ford's 2-door hatchback Probe. Base engine for the DX and LX versions was a twin-cam 2.0-liter four, rated at 118 horsepower. The top-shelf 626 ES carried a new 2.5-liter V6, which produced 164 horsepower. Both engines might drive either a 5-speed manual or optional 4-speed automatic transmission. |

|
929
| Restyled for 1992, the 929 premium sedan remained Mazda's luxury flagship. This new 929 bore little resemblance to its predecessor of the same number, which had been boxier in shape. The redesign yielded a more-rounded, flowing body on a wheelbase that was 5 1/2 inches longer. Mazda also added dual airbags. Despite being nearly as long as before and close to three inches wider, trunk space shrunk. The 24-valve, twin-cam 3.0-liter V6 and standard antilock brakes of the previous S model were carried over, though the engine was revised a bit and gained five horsepower. A 4-speed automatic was the sole transmission, with "power" and "normal" shift modes. |
|
B Series Pickup
| Both the Mazda B-series and the similar Ford Ranger compact pickup trucks were redesigned for 1998. Mechanically, the two were nearly identical, but they differed in styling details. Mazda offered no flare-fendered model comparable to Ford's Ranger Splash. However, Mazda's swept-back look was thought to be favored by import-brand truck buyers. Improvements included a stiffer, fully boxed frame. An independent front suspension replaced the solid axle, and rack-and-pinion steering edged aside the old recirculating-ball system. In this generation, both the B-Series and the Ranger added a 4-door extended-cab body style. That made Mazda the first import-brand pickup to offer a 4-door cab, called the Cab Plus 4. Standard cabs were 3 inches longer than before. |

Millenia
| Millenia went on sale in spring of 1994 as an early 1995 model. Sized and priced between the Mazda 626 family sedan and 929 luxury sedan, Millenias came in three versions: base, base with leather interior, and top-line S. Base models held a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter V6 engine. The Millenia S carried a supercharged 210-horsepower 2.3-liter V6. A 4-speed automatic transmission was standard. No manual-shift Millenias were available. Dual airbags, antilock brakes, and automatic climate control were standard. The Millenia S added traction control and 16-inch tires. |
|
MPV
| The Mazda MPV boasts Mazda's distinctive styling, including the Mazda five-point-grille. Along with large lamp clusters and distinctive bonnet sculpturing, the MPV also provides Mazda's Triple H safety cell construction, ABS and other features that make this the driver's MPV. |

MX3
| Mazda MX-3 Precidia base model. This 1992 Mazda Mx-3 base model cam with an 88-horsepower, 1.6-liter overhead-cam engine with 98 lb/ft of torque. It was very economical and slow. Plans for the near future include a 1.8L V6 (200hp@6500rpm KL-ZE) or a 2.5L V6 (167hp@6000rpm KL-03) engine swap. After, a few modifications led to even more modifications which led to this car shown to you above. |
|
MX5 Miata
While most sports cars aim for specific, unemotional performance targets-such as the time required to accelerate to 100km/h or the cornering-G provided by the chassis-Mazda engineers established wholly different goals to reinvigorate the lightweight sports car.
The all new MX-5 combines the feeling of balance and harmony to create the ultimate Zoom-Zoom. |

|
MX6
| This car must have been one of the last MX6's imported into OZ. Made in Feb 1997 and first registered in May 1997. It was fitted with all options as standard including leather, A/C, airbag, cruise control, sunroof and of course 4 wheel steering It is in absolutely original condition with zero modifications, always owned by Mazda enthusiasts. |
|
Navajo
| Mazda bought Explorers from Ford, then installed their own grille, taillamps, and minor body trim. Only a 2-door wagon was offered, whereas Explorers could also be purchased in 4-door form. Built by Ford, the 155-horsepower 4.0-liter V6 drove either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission. All models had Ford's part-time electronic Touch-Drive 4WD system. Rear antilock brakes were standard, operating only in 2-wheel drive. Navajos seated four. A split folding rear seat could be folded down for extra cargo space. |

|
Protege
| Mazda redesigned its front-drive subcompact sedan for 1999, with "European-inspired styling." Considered all-new, the "entry-level" 4-door also got more power, but interior and exterior dimensions changed only slightly. Three versions again went on sale: base DX, well-equipped LX, and sporty ES. DX and LX models got a new 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, rated at 105 horsepower (13 more than the prior 1.5-liter). A new 1.8-liter 4-cylinder, developing 122 horsepower, went into the ES sedan. A 5-speed manual transmission was standard with both engines, with 4-speed automatic optional. Antilock braking was optional for the LX and ES, but side-impact airbags were not available. The ES sedan now had rear drum brakes, though all-disc braking had previously been installed. |
|
RX8
| The Mazda RX-8 was created through the pursuit of a genuine sports car with a totally new four-door, four-seat configuration that delivers sports car values, passenger comfort and driving pleasure. Offering unique and unmistakable styling; sharp and responsive performance and everyday practicality that greatly exceeds other sports cars. |
|
|
Tribute
The new Mazda Tribute will impress, with responsive handling, sporty styling, exhilarating power, and an advanced interior with generous space, amazing flexibility and superb comfort.
There's a choice of two engines, including the economical 2.3 litre 4 cylinder or powerful 3.0 litre V6. |
